Knights junior Garret Randle continued his good summer Sunday afternoon as he defeated the Geneva Redwings 5-3 in a NYCBL day game. Randle allowed 2 earned runs on six hits with 3 walks in 8 innings of work while striking out 8. Randle's performance pushes his overall record to 3-0. On the summer he has a 2.3 Earned Run Average while he works to master his sinker.
The big righty from Nemitz High School in Irving, TX will return in the fall competing to win a role in the Knights rotation after spending the majority of the 09 season as the number 3 starter.
