Harris Continuing To Impress In His First Professional Season

RJ Harris has proven that his 2009 season as a Knight was certainly no fluke. Harris has his average over .300 with 5 home runs. His .302 batting average currently ranks him 13th in the Appalachian League.

The Knights have several outfielders who will try and replace the production left behind by the early departure of Harris. Most notable is Sam Houston State transfer, Justin Keithley. Keithley hit .305 with 11 doubles, 4 home runs, and 32 RBI in 2009 for the Bearcats. Also expected to compete for a spot in the outfield is Anthony Washington(Sr), Dewitt Knight(Jr), Justin Coats(Sr), and Jeff Sakowski(Sr).
