Knights Sign Big Stick In Scott Tabrett

The Knights offense made a big stride in reloading its powerful offense with the signing of corner infielder Scott Tabrett. Tabrett, the South Wales, Australia native, will compete at both third base and first base.

Tabrett has a track record of putting up big offensive numbers. Scott began his playing career at Clarendon Junior College. After two years he signed a baseball scholarship to attend TCU in the fall of 2009. After being declared athletically ineligible due to age technicalities he transferred to Indiana Tech for the spring term. Despite playing through a wrist injury, Tabrett was able to put up good numbers at ITU in only 38 games.
Tabrett, will be looked upon to fill the offensive void of 2nd Team All-American, Justin Coats.
