Isabel Dominating Through First 5 Outings

Former Knight, George Isabel, has dominated the competition at the Rookie League level for the New York Yankees. Isabel, who made huge strides in his only year as a Knight, has been nearly unhittable through 11 innings of work in his first professional season.

The Yankees are taking it slow with George, to this point he as thrown once a week out of the pen. His latest outing was his longest as he went 3 innings, giving up one run on one hit, no walks and 5 punchouts.

Through his first 5 outings opponents are hitting just .175 while striking out 16 times to just 4 walks.
