The 2009 version of the Knights was one of the best in the program's recent history. With an overall record of 36-19, the Knights captured both the RRAC regular season and conference tournament. The conference tournament championship was the second in as many years. The season came to an end in the first round of the NAIA National Championship Tournament in Lubbock, TX.
